LHC concerned over not creating fire safety posts in schools

LAHORE - Expressing concerns over not creating fire safety posts in public schools, the Lahore High court warned the secretary health that he would be summoned if he could not submit report on next hearing.
Noshar A Khan Advocate filed the petition saying that a number of children and adult lost their lives at various hospitals due to short circuit. Had the situation been changed if the government would have installed special gadgets to control fire, argued the petitioner. He argued that no such equipments had been provided to the hospitals which could lead to the worse situation in future.  However, a government officer appeared in the court and sought some time to submit detailed report. On it, Justice Farrukh Irfan Khan observed that the Secretary would be summoned if the report was not submitted on the next hearing. The judge accepted the plea and adjourned the hearing until June 10.
