PM reviews law and order situation following Karachi bus attack

Karachi: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has reviewed the law and order situation in the wake of the killing of forty-three people in firing on a bus in the city today.

The Prime Minister, in a high level meeting held in Karachi, expressed deep sorrow and grief over the firing incident in which innocent people were targeted.

He directed to apprehend the culprits involved the killing of bus passengers at the earliest.

He also directed the law enforcing agencies to keep a close eye on anti-state and anti-social elements who are bent upon blocking peace, progress and prosperity in the country.

The Director General Rangers and Inspector General Sindh briefed the Prime Minister on the occasion.

Governor Sindh, Chief Minister Sindh, Chief of Army Staff, Dr. Farooq Sattar, Secretary Interior, Corps Commander and DG Rangers are attending the meeting.
