Hai on verge of winning Sindh Amateur Golf crown

KARACHI - Ali Hai brought himself on the verge of winning the 11th Sindh Amateur Golf title with an improved performance on the second day when he fired one under 71 to finish with an overall score of 143, six strokes ahead of his nearest rival Hamza Amin here on Saturday at Karachi Golf Course. Ali Hai did even better in the second round with a day left in the 54-hole championship and within a hand shaking distance of the championship crown. Hamza Amin remained second with a score of 149 in two rounds. He had done better in the first round when he logged two over 74 but on second day, he finished three over 75. Zohaib Asif, who was lying far below the leaderboard at the first round, staged a good comeback to finish the third. He added score of 74 to his first days score of 78. Wasim Rana registered 75 on the second round. His first round score was 77.
