Khloe warns Kylie over choice of man

CALIFONRI A (BEL): Khloé Kardashian has reportedly warned younger sister Kylie Jenner to stay away from rappers as potential boyfriends. It was recently reported that 17-year-old Kylie had struck up more than just a friendship with rapper Tyga, 24. But Khloé is said to be unhappy about the alleged romance, mostly because Tyga is the father of a two-year-old son with his ex Blac Chyna. According to reports, Khloé is keen for Kylie to find a man who doesn’t have any excess baggage.  Of course, Khloé is no stranger to having a partner who has a child. Her ex-husband Lamar Odom is a father of two with his ex-girlfriend, and her on-off boyfriend French Montana is also father to a son, Cruz.

But people who want to see Renee Fleming in the operas that made her ‘America’s sweetheart’ better hurry. At 55, Fleming can see about three more years down the road singing the roles in Strauss and Mozart operas, or as the water nymph Rusalka in Dvorak’s opera of the same name, that made her famous, and then? Well, as she put it in a recent phone interview to launch her album ‘Christmas in New York’, where she sings along with the likes of trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and pop crooner Rufus Wainwright, she can continue her work as a creative consultant for the Lyric Opera of Chicago and sing recitals.

I don’t hold a grudge: Aniston

LOIS ANGELES (BFT): Jennifer Aniston has said she is a forgiving person. The Cake star’s ex-husband Brad Pitt is now married to Angelina Jolie.  While not referring specifically to her past, Jen told Harper’s Bazaar : ‘[I’m] a forgiving person. I absolutely am. ‘I think it’s extremely important to forgive. Otherwise it just builds up like toxic waste. There’s nothing worse than holding a grudge.’  She added: ‘People can do unforgivable things, but you have to let it go and say, ‘Look, we’re all human beings. We make mistakes.’ To hold any kind of resentment is like taking rat poison and waiting for the rat to die.’ Jen and fiance Justin Theroux’s relationship is the source of constant speculation, and the pair were recently said to have cooled.

Nicki Minaj sorry for Nazi imagery

NEW YORK (AFP): Hip-hop star Nicki Minaj apologized Tuesday and denied any Nazi sympathies after she came under criticism for imagery that resembled the Third Reich in a video. The video for ‘Only’ is an animation that depicts the singer enthroned at a Greco-Roman building with red-and-white flags on the columns similar to the Nazi German flag - except with a symbol for Minaj instead of a swastika. Tanks and troops stand at attention, evoking images of Adolf Hitler’s rallies. The song also features fellow stars Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown. Minaj, who this weekend hosted the MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow, Scotland, responded that the inspiration for the video was in fact the cartoon series ‘Metalocalypse.’
