The trend of student societies is gaining popularity in universities. They work as professionally as an expert organization in the corporate world. Each society has different motives; leadership, enhancement, development and majorly MUNs. The students organize events, including residential conferences, social events, seminars, CSR projects etc. These societies are headed by students and run by students, teaching them a sense of responsibility. I have seen introverts turning into extroverts. The development, learning, skills and experience these societies provides is beyond the general academic studies. The entire corporate world depends on connections and business links and most of the well known organisations hire experienced students, not only on the basis of high GPA but also their social skills. Therefore, if the students really want to excel in their life, they should dedicate time to these societies.
