I had the chance to travel via Islamabad’s Benazir Bhutto International Airport, and I was expecting a horrible time as Islamabad Airport was voted as the worst in the world, according to a poll done by the ‘Guide to Sleeping at Airports’ website. But to my surprise, Islamabad Airport was not as bad as the poll suggested. Yes, it is not as good as other Airports of Pakistan but still its way better than the report suggested. To my astonishment I received excellent ‘customer service’ from everyone.

I didn’t have to face long queues, as everything seemed to be functioning smoothly. There is every possibility, that when the polls was conducted the facilities at Islamabad Airport might not have been up to the mark, so credit must be given to Civil Aviation Authority for taking the criticism positively and rectifying things. I would also like to request CAA to be pro-active in their approach and continue to improve and provide state of the art facilities at the airports.
