ISLAMABAD: Executive Director of Pakistan National Institute for Folk and Tradional Heritage (Loke Virsa) Fouzia Saeed has said that they would soon initiate screening of iranian movies in cinemas to help enhance Pak-Iran cultural exchange cooperation in the region.
Talking to IRNA, she said that the Iranian films are liked throughout the world and its presentation in Pakistan would be highly appreciated.
The Iranian movies are culturally very close to Pakistani society ought to be screened in Pakistani cinemas and the cultural proximity is also one of the eminent point in this regard, she added.
Iranian movies are being appreciated globally and their screening in Pakistan must be encouraged, she added.
General Manager Marketing of Cinepax Cinema, Mohsin Yasin has also said that they must show Iranian films as it is a best way of cultural exchange between the two countries.
He has also appealed the Iranian cultural department saying that Iran should help them under the cultural exchange program and they should be put in contact with the Iranian producers to release movies in Pakistan.
