Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad says Quetta-Taftan section and its up-gradation are imperative for Pak-Iran relations.
He was talking to Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honardoost, who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Both sides agreed on mutual cooperation in Railways.
It was also decided to constitute a technical committee of the two countries to resolve issues pertaining to railways.
