The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Tuesday took action against a gang involved in selling products after expiry date in new packing.
According to detail, PFA conducted raid at a factory located at Murree road and recovered many expired products, which included 23,328 packets of snacks and cooking oil.
As per reports, a raid has also been conducted at Rawalpindi fish market and two points were sealed during the inspection. The operation was conducted under the subversion of PFA DG Capt Retd Muhammad Usman.
During the operation, heavy fines were also imposed on several shops at Murree road.
