ISLAMABAD - Central Investigation Agency Islamabad on Sunday arrested three dacoits allegedly involved in different robberies including a robbery at the residence of an Indian diplomat. According to details, some persons broke into the house of Indian High Commissioner Second Secretary Subbramanyam in Sector F-6/1 in August. After this activity, the alleged dacoits fled away and took mobile phones, camera, Indian and Pakistani currency. Kohsar Police registered case 387 under section 380/457 PPC and started the investigation. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ahmed Latif assigned the task to CIA In-charge Bashir Ahmad Noon, who managed to arrest one of the alleged criminal Aftab alias Tabu and recovered the stolen items including mobile phone,camera from his possession. Meanwhile, two persons Naveed Sarfraz and Tabraiz were arrested for allegedly stealing the gold ornaments, movie camera from the house of Nasreen Begum residing in Sector I-10/2. The police recovered three mobile phone, three movie cameras, eight gold bangles, ring and bracelet from their custody and further investigation is still underway.
