Coca-Cola retains position

LAHORE The Coca-Cola has retained its position as number one in Inter-brands ranking of the worlds 100 best brands. The 'Coca-Cola brand has consecutively occupied the No. 1 position since Inter-brand initiated its Global Brand Report 12 years ago. The Coca-Cola Companys 'Sprite brand also makes an appearance on the list for the second year running at 63, with an estimate worth of $5.6 million. The 2011 Inter-brand report estimates Coca-Colas brand value to be at around $71.9 million, a 2 percent increase from 2010. Despite the dominance and sector-wide growth of technological brands this year, Coca-Cola has outdone competitors from a diverse range of sectors, such as business services, computer services, internet services, electronics and media along with its direct competitors in the beverage sector.
