Lahore stocks gain 12 points

LAHORE (APP) - Lahore Stock Exchange gained 12.62 points on Wednesday as LSE 25-index, which opened at 3267.99 points, closed at 3280.61 points. Market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.237 million shares to close against previous turnover of 4.104 million shares, showing a difference of 133,533 shares. While, out of the total 103 active scrips, 20 moved up, 58 remained equal and 25 shed values. Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Company and Engro Foods Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.27, Rs 2.91 and Rs 1.20 respectively. MCB Bank Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Millat Tractors Limited lost their per share value by Rs 2.30, Rs 2.10 and Rs 2.00 respectively. The volume leader of the day included Lotte Pakistan Limited with turnover of 1.880 million shares, Fatima Fertilizer Company with 444,918 and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim with 400,075 shares.
