OUR STAFF REPORTER ELLAH ABAD - The Ellah Abad police have arrested two Afghan dacoits from the Depalpur Road here after exchange of fire. The gang members stormed into the house of Muhammad Aslam, a policeman, in Chunian at 9am. After looting the house, they tried to escape in a coaster but local people followed them. When the robbers reached Ellah Abad, the pursuers informed the police. The police reached there immediately. The dacoits opened fire on the police party and the police retaliated. However, the police overcame the robbers. During preliminary investigation, they were identified as Majid and Sameeullah and are the citizens of Afghanistan.
