LAHORE - A 38-year-old prisoner died at Lahore Camp jail under mysterious circumstances, police sources on Sunday.
Laal Hussain was rushed to a hospital after his condition got deteriorated on early Sunday. Later, he died at the hospital. Police have removed the body to the morgue for autopsy.
Resident of Thokar Niaz Baig, Hussain, was imprisoned on the charges of murder and attempted murder. He was sent to jail by Hanjarwal police some two years ago. Cases against the under-trial accused are still pending with the local courts for decision.
