LAHORE: The Jamaat-i-Islami had started efforts to bring more and more people to the annual congregation it is holding in the city next month.

Secretary General Liaquat Baloch is starting a countrywide tour from October 14, to mobilise the masses.

The congregation will be held at the Minar-i-Pakistan lawns from November 21 to 24.

On the first leg of his tour, the JI Secretary General will visit all district headquarters in the Punjab. According to the schedule, he will  visit Hafizabad on October 14,  Kasur on 15, Sialkot and Narowal on 16, Gujrat and Mandi Bahaud Din on 17,  Gujranwala and Rawalpindi on 18, Attock and Islamabad on Oct 19, Lahore on  20, Mianwali and Bhakkar on  21. He will visit Sargodha and Chiniot on  22, Jhang and Faisalabad on Oct 23. –STAFF REPORTER

Baloch will address workers conventions at these places and also meet the leaders of all schools of thought besides JI’s sister organisations and invite them to the JI moot.
