Swat- A woman and a girl committed suicide by taking poisonous drugs in separate incidents in Swat district, local police confirmed.
The 18-year-old girl, identified as Bakht Zameen, committed suicide by consuming poison in Kotha area of tehsil Barikot. Her wedding was due in two days. Similarly, a 51-year-old woman took her life by taking poison near Shah Dheri area of tehsil Kabal. The reason behind the suicides could not be ascertained. Police have registered the cases and launched investigation.
