ISLAMABAD - The newly appointed CEO of Pakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC) Zahid Maqsood Sheikh discussed the performance and revival plan of the company with Minister for Industries and Production Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi on Monday.
According to a handout, Jatoi said that the development of the company into a successful and efficient organization needs financial development, operational efficiency and planning.
The CEO apprised the minister that the upgradation of machinery has been successfully done in several locations and many offices have been made operational and presently they were functioning at maximum productivity.
Operations in Balochistan were also discussed along with the need to revive and revitalize company’s operations in various areas including Lasbela and Khuzdar.
Deliberating on operations in Sindh, FATA and KPK, the minister said that facilities in these areas needed to be targeted and their potential maximized to make use of the opportunities available. Another meeting on the formal future planning of PASDEC will be held soon.
