A highway robber was shot dead by the three car riders while his three accomplices escaped from the scene near Tapyala Dost Muhammad on Narang-Muridke Road on Monday.
Three family members Habib, Sufyan and Khalid were on their way to Narang from Lahore. They were intercepted by the four highway robbers. As the suspects stopped their car, one of the car riders having pistol opened fire on them. As a result, Salim Masih was killed instantly. However, the others escaped from the site. The deceased was resident of Moza Bhiki and involved in dozens of heinous crime, the Sadar Muridke police said.
WOMEN KILLED: A 25 years old woman was strangulated to death on the pretext of honour. Her body was swept in the QB Link canal near village Attan wali. The victim had allegedly developed relations in the same locality.
On the day of incident, the deceased’s uncle Arfan and aunt Nusrat after exchanging hot words strangled her to death and later threw her body in the canal. An 18 years old boy shot his 20 years old friend over petty dispute in Rehmat Colony in the remit of Ferozewala police station.
