Kashmiris love Pakistan: Syed Ali Geelani

Srinagar: Several protesters sustained injuries when clashes were held between the youth and the Indian forces near the venue of 'Big Kashmir Marathon' in occupied Kashmir today.

The youth chanted pro-freedom and pro-Pakistan slogans, and raised Pakistan's flag. Police and paramilitary forces resorted to baton-charge and fired teargas shells on the protesters.

Several protestors were injured. The twenty-one-kilometer marathon was to begin from Naseem Bagh at Kashmir University and go along Dal Lake.

Meanwhile, Veteran Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani, in a statement, said that India knows that the Kashmiris love Pakistan.

He said that the Kashmiris will continue their struggle for their right to self-determination until the objective is achieved. Meanwhile, a complete shutdown was observed in Pulwama district on Sunday against the killing of a local youth
