LAHORE - The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started working on strategic policy and vision 2020 to strengthen cricket in Pakistan.

The sources told The Nation that to work on this long-term project, the PCB has constituted main coordination and seven sub-committees. All sub-committees are answerable to central committee and central committee will present report to governing body. PCB governing body member Zafar Mahmood will lead the committee.

Islamabad Region president Shakeel Sheikh, Director Media Amjad Hussain and Imran Khan are the members of the committee. Raising team performance committee includes chief selector Haroon Rasheed, head coach Waqar Younis and Grand Ludin, member of Pakistan team coaching staff.

Shakeel Sheikh, Intikhab Alam and Saqib Irfan are the members of domestic cricket committee. Game development committee includes director game development Ezad Sayed, Senior General Manager National Cricket Academy Ali Zia, head coach NCA M Akram and Hasam-ur-Rehman.

Najam Sethi and PCB COO Subhan Ahmad are the members of committee for rehabilitation international cricket in Pakistan. Restructuring committee includes Najam Sethi, Subhan Ahmad and Badar Manzoor. Ezad Sayed and Shamsa Hashmi are the members of two-member committee constituted for women cricket.
