LAHORE - The Lahore High Court has constituted 48 single benches, 20 division benches and 31 special benches for hearing of cases after Eidul Azha holidays during the ongoing week.

According to a roster issued by the LHC Registrar office, 13 division benches and 32 single benches have been constituted at the principal seat. Beside it, 23 special benches have been constituted for different divisions including Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Sargodha and Faisalabad division.



At Rawalpindi bench, two division benches, four single benches have been made for the current week. At Multan bench, eight single bench, four division benches have been constituted and eight special benches have been constituted which will take up the cases of D.G Khan and Sahiwal district. At Bahwalpur bench, two division benches and four single benches will take up matters during the ongoing week.

On other hand,   the Supreme Court has issued its cause lists of two benches sitting at Lahore registry for working of the current week after Eidul Azhar holidays.

 The bench No.1 comprising senior psuine judge, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik would hear suo motu case about child-abduction cases in the province of Punjab on Friday.

The bench No.2 comprising Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Ijazul Ahsan will hear family, banking, insurance and service matters.
