KARACHI (PR) - Sindh Board of Investment has committed to provide facilitation to lran-Pak Wind Power (Pvt) Ltd through a MoU signed between the parties on the occasion of the Sindh Investment Conference held at Karachi. This is the first time that the Sindh Govt has directly committed to assisting a consortium of foreign and local investors and a three-month deadline has been set for completing the formalities in the first phase. Iran-Pak Wind Power intends to setup a 50 MW Wind Farm in Thatta District. On behalf of lran-Pak Wind Power Khurram Sayeed, CE and Ehsan Nadjafi and Reza Allamie signed the MoU while Younus Dagha, Secretary Sindh BoI, signed on behalf of the Sindh Govt. The MoU was signed in the presence of Syed Qaim All Shah, Chief Minister of Sindh and Chairman Sindh BoI. Also present on the occasion were M Hussain Zamani, Consul General of Iran, Rauf Siddiqui, Minister Industries Sindh Government, Zubair Motiwala, Adviser to CM on Investment and Tariq Sayeed, Chairman Planet Group.
