Helpline for suicide prevention

LAHORE In view of growing tide of suicides in the country, MIND Organisation inaugurated Helpline for Suicide Prevention on Wednesday.
On the occasion, a tele-film on the subject of growing issue of suicides was also showcased. A number people from various walks of life including doctors, teachers, and students of different institutions were present.
The purpose of this helpline is to reduce suicides in the society.
The helpline will remain open from 9am to 3pm initially; later it will serve 24 hourly. The telephone number of helpline is 042-35761999.
