55 suspects nabbed in search operation

Islamabad - Local police have arrested 55 suspects during a search operation conducted in the areas falling in the jurisdiction of Noon police station.
The suspects were arrested from slums, Afghan habitats, workshops and inns. The nabbed suspects are being investigated further. Meanwhile, Islamabad police have arrested 11 outlaws including three gamblers from various areas of the city, besides recovering wine, stake money, gambling tool and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said. On a tip-off, Aabpara police raided at G-7 area and arrested 3 gamblers identified as Muhammad Akhtar, Muhammad Asif Mehmood and Javed. Police team also recovered stake money and gambling tools from their possession. Aabpara police also arrested one bootlegger and recovered 15 wine bottles from him. Bhara Kahu police arrested two accused Ittefaq Abbasi and Gulzaib involved in a dacoity case. Industrial Area police arrested one accused Ali involved in dacoity. Margalla police arrested four accused Samer, Somoil, Abbas and Janghir and recovered stolen property from their possession. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way.
