LAHORE - A workshop of District Advocacy Forum under EVA-BHN (Empowerment Voice and Accountability for Health and Nutrition), aimed at empowering the citizens to play an active role in the improvement of the healthcare services delivery and nutrition in the poor population, was held in a local hotel, according to a press release.
The event was attended by health department officials, MPAs, journalists, district bar members and civil society representatives. The chief guest was Adviser to CM on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique.
Khawaja Salman Rafique, speaking on this occasion, said this forum would provide support to district governments in addressing health issues at BHU level. MPAs Raheela Khadim, Sadia Butt and EDO (Health) Dr Mazhar Saeed appreciated the initiative, saying it would raise the voices of the poor.
