LAHORE (PR): Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited and BankIslami Pakistan Limited have joined hands to offer their customers with valuable Honda products coupled with Shariah compliant auto financing solutions. NBP, Citi join hands

KARACHI (PR): Citibank N.A., Pakistan (Citi) has entered into a tax payment facilitation agreement with National Bank of Pakistan (NBP). This arrangement will enable value added services to be provided to Citi’s customers by NBP by replacing manual instruments with a more efficient electronic transfer mechanism leveraging on the SBP’s Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS).

The signing ceremony was held at NBP’s head office. AtiqRehman, CEO Citi MEA, along with Nadeem Lodhi, CCO & MD Citibank N.A., Pakistan, and Syed Ahmed Iqbal Ashraf, President NBP, were present at the ceremony.

This arrangement will result in streamlining the tax payment process for Citi’s clientele by allowing the payment to be routed electronically and will result in faster realization of tax proceeds. As the tax collection bank for FBR, NBP has played a vital role in structuring this solution.

Oman Air launches second daily service to Heathrow

KARACHI (PR): Oman Air is set to launch a second service between Muscat and London Heathrow. The new service will complement Oman Air’s existing daily, one-stop service from Pakistan.

The service is being launched in response to overwhelming demand from air travelers for flights to and from London.

Paul Gregorowitsch, Chief Executive Officer, Oman Air, announced the new service, saying: “We are delighted to be launching a second daily frequency to London.

Our customers have expressed a strong desire for a second frequency into London and we are very pleased to be meeting that demand with this new service.”

Huawei ranked among world’s top brands

LAHORE (PR): The leading global technology brand, Huawei has once again been listed among the top brands globally. Huawei has been recognized by the international markets, consumer pool and the technology analysts as a leading, most trusted and the most loved brand across the globe. Recently, Brand Finance, a UK base firm, has listed down and released “Global Top 100 most Valuable Brands”. According to the said list, Huawei has been ranked on the 47th position among the most valuable global brands.

Energy conference today

LAHORE (PR): Premier Energy Pvt. Ltd in collaboration with Sundar Industrial Estate Lahore organised a pre-event press conference for the “Annual Energy Conference 2016” to be held on April 14 (today) at Sundar Industrial Estate here.
