LAHORE - Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has challenged PTI Chairman Imran Khan to hold a sit-in at Raiwind.

Talking to media men here yesterday, the minister warned that Imran Khan’s politics would come to an end if he staged a sit-in at the residence of Sharif family.

Sanaullah said the PML-N has always based its politics on democratic values as such they do not abhor protests. However, he added, they would not allow anyone to create instability and anarchy under the guise of protest.

“Those who want to create unrest in the country are not in favour of development in Pakistan,” the minister maintained.

Without naming Imran Khan, he said, it does not fit a person to target others when he himself has many skeletons in the cupboard.

To a question, he said the Panama leaks had nothing incriminating the Sharif family and those who were making hue and cry over the scandal, were in fact doing it to save their own politics.

The PML-N stalwart overruled that the Prime Minister’s visit to London had any political dimension or he was due to meet PPP president Asif Ali Zardari in United Kingdom. “The PM is visiting London purely for his medical treatment,” he held.
