SADIQABAD-A local Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader demanded that the government should raise voice at international forums to draw attention of the world community to the atrocities being committed against innocent civilians in Indian Held Kashmir.
During a media talk, Rana Salman Mehmood Khan said that the government should speed up its efforts to prevent India from oppressing Kashmiris. He pointed out that the entire nation supported the cause Kashmiris had been struggling for. He also urged the government to accelerate its diplomatic efforts to expose the ugly face of India in the world. "Pakistan should sensitise the world to the severity of the burning Kashmir issue," he added.

A local Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader, Rana Tariq Mehmood, said that Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood had been playing due role in politics of South Punjab. He claimed that the party would win the next general election with an absolute majority. He showered PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for making Pakistan an atomic power. He further claimed that Pakistan had always made progress during the reign of the PPP. He maintained that the PPP had laid the foundation of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project. He flayed the incumbent rulers for doing nothing for the public welfare. He said that the rulers had built metro like expensive projects but neglected health and education sectors. "The masses have nothing to do with 'Why Am I Out'. They want a solution to their problems," he pointed out. "It is due to dictatorial behaviour of the rulers that the PML-N lawmakers are defecting from the party," he added.
