Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani of Mutahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan will join Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).  

He will announce his decision formally in a press conference today at Pakistan House at 2:30pm. Mustafa Kamal will also accompany him during the press conference.    

Qaimkhani, the former excise and taxation minister Sindh, will be the first MQM-Pakistan

On April 1, MQM-P MNA from Bahadurabad faction leader to join the PSP. 

Earlier, MNA Muhammad Muzammil Qureshi of Farroq Sattar group of MQM-P, joined PSP on April 4.

Hyderabad, Waseem Hussain, announced joining the PSP whereas on March 29, MQM-P MNA Dr Fouzia Hameed announced the same.

Before them, on March 28, two women provincial lawmakers of MQM-P MPAs Naheed Begum and Naila Munir had jumped ship.
