Pakistan came into existence on the ideology of Islam. This ideology and the Islamic values should have been maintained after its creation. However, with the passage of time, the western culture has infused gradually in our society due to no effort at the governmental or parental level to teach their charges the importance of Islamic values. e should look up to Quaid-e-Azam, who wore a Sherwani and a Jinnah cap to indicate what is our national dress. Now our official delegations go abroad in all sorts of dresses even though they stick to Sherwanis while taking oath. Our PM wears Jinnah cap and Sherwani while taking oath of office. What stops him from wearing our national dress while proceeding abroad in official capacity? Taking the lead from our rulers, rest of the nation has also started wearing all sorts of foreign dresses.
