PUNE (India) As many as three national selectors of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) declined to accept the three-month extension, it was learnt here. According to the Dhaka-based sources close to the BCB, the three selectors - chairman Rafiqul Alam, Akram Khan and Zahid Razaq Masum had a meeting with BCB chairman Mostafa Kamal and chairman of the Cricket Operations Committee Enayat Hossain Siraj earlier this week. The term of the present selection committee got over in last June and they were offered to continue for three more months, however, the selectors declined to accept the short duration job, the source informed this scribe. The meeting was attended in a cordial atmosphere and now they may be asked to continue till the next years World Cup, the source said. The BCB president is likely to discuss the matter in the board meeting and the final decision may be announced in a weeks time, he added. They conducted extensive discussions with the selectors about team selection and preparation for the 2011 World Cup where Bangladesh is one of the co-hosts along with India and Sri Lanka.
