ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that the benefits of the 18th Amendment could only be ensured through its timely implementation. Talking to Senator Mian Raza Rabbani, Chairman of the Implementation Committee of the Parliament on 18th Amendment, here at Prime Ministers Secretariat on Friday afternoon Premier Gilani stressed that early implementation needed unanimous support of all the political parties as demonstrated during the passage of the Bill. Earlier Senator Mian Raza Rabbani apprised the Prime Minister of the progress with regard to the implementation status of the 18th Amendment Bill. Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Zaheer-ud-Din Babar Awan, Attorney General of Pakistan, Maulvi Anwarul Haq and Secretary Law, Muhammad Masood Chishti, were also present in the meeting.
