LAHORE Six people were found dead in various parts of the City on Saturday. Body of an elder man was found lying on Main Road in Lorry Adda police precincts. Police after being informed reached the spot and recovered the body. The eyewitnesses, however, said the man was unconscious and he breathed his last at a local hospital. Later, a 40-year-old man was found dead from AC Block, Defence Area; a 60-year-old unidentified man from J Block, Model Town was found dead; 45-year-old man was found dead in Lower Mall; 45-year-old man from Pakistani Chowk in Ichra; a 43-year-old unknown man from Bari Chowk and other 50-year-old unidentified man was found dead on Mela Ram Road the same day. Police concerned claimed the deceased persons were drug addicts and the main reason of their deaths was excessive usage of drugs. They are awaiting for an autopsy in order to ascertain the real reason of their deaths. Further investigations are underway. Meanwhile, a 40-year-old unidentified woman succumbed to injuries minutes after a speeding motorcycle crushed her to death in Baghbanpura police precincts on Saturday. An eyewitness said she was crossing the road when she was hit by an uncontrolled bike. Resultantly, she suffered multiple wounds. She was rushed to a hospital where she breathed her last.
