LAHORE Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while congratulating the nation on the Independence Day, has said the historic day of August 14 reminded us the unforgettable sacrifices rendered under the leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The I-Day demands us joint efforts by remaining above personal interests for achieving the real objectives of creation of Pakistan. On this happy occasion, we would have to pledge utilizing all energies for the progress, prosperity and stability of the country, he said in his message on the eve of Independence Day. Shahbaz said achievement of Pakistan was the result of great struggle of Muslims of the sub-continent.
