KAKUL: Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani has said that Islam is a religion of peace and it does not in any case divide the people rather it forges unity among the Muslims. In a brief address at the Kakul Academy Saturday night, he paid rich tribute to the brave soldiers of Pakistan armed forces, the paramilitary troops and civilians who lost their lives in the war against terrorism and vowed to defeat the evil forces with the help of the talented youth and use of available resources. He predicted a bright and peaceful future for the country and reassured the nation of their eventual success, saying We will overcome all the difficulties, Insha Allah.
