RAWALPINDI The accused in Mumbai attack case has withdrew their contempt of court petition filed against Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik here on Saturday. The accused said they filed the contempt of court petition against Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik after publishing his statement in Indian national daily Hindo by mistake. ATC No 3 Judge Shahid Raffique adjourned the hearing of Mumbai attack case till 27 August 2011. During the trial, which held at Adyala Jail, FIA Prosecutor Chaudhry Muhammad Azhar informed the court that the Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik could not receive court notice as he was in Lahore. He also informed the court that Rehman Malik sent a message in which he stated, I do respect the courts. I stated during a speech in London the government would send judicial commission to India within 8 or 10 days once the court announces its verdict about the constitution of the judicial commission. FIA prosecutor also told the agency would produce the two documents regarding Mumbai attack case that arrived from India before the court on Monday. ATC No 3 Judge Shahid Raffique, on this, postponed the hearing of Mumbai attack case till 27 August 2011. The seven accused, arrested in Pakistan in connection with Mumbai attack case included Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, Shahid Jamil Riaz, Hamad Amin Sadiq, Abdul Wajid, Muhammad Younis Anjum, Jamil Ahmed and Mazhar Iqbal were also produced before the court.
