Nizami to hoist national flag

LAHORE TheNation Editor-in-Chief and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami, along with Pakistan Movement workers, will hoist the national flag at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan here on Sunday. Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and Pakistan Movement Workers Trust will also organize a sitting on the occasion of the 64th I-Day. Meanwhile, Nizami has urged the youth for playing their active role in making Pakistan an Islamic welfare democratic state according to the vision of the Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah. He was speaking at an exhibition of books, CDs, posters and badges depicting the struggle for independence. It was organized by the Nazaria Pakistan Trust. NPT Vice-chairman Professor Dr Rafique Ahmad, Muslim League leader Begum Safia Ishaq, Dr MA Soofi, Dr Sarfraz Mirza, Shahid Rasheed, Rafaqat Riaz, teachers, students and people from different walks of life were present on the occasion. STUDENTS: The students of Moonlight High School Ferozpur Road Saturday visited the Aiwan-e-Karkunan and attended the Pakistan Aghi ceremony, which was addressed by the school principal Shafique Ahmad.
