LAHORE (PR) The Sociale Foundation celebrated the International Day of the World Indigenous People (Pasdaraan-e-Rawaiyat Ka Almi Din) Day in collaboration with Faisalabad Arts Council at Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium in Faisalabad the other day. The Foundation has used music as a medium to promote the cultural pride and melodies of Allah Ditta Loonewala, Nadim Abas Loonewala, Saira Nasim, Ustad Qamaruzaman and Badruzaman o promote the message of peace and unity. In the times of uncertainty and financial crisis, the Sociale successfully provided Faisalabad an opportunity to celebrate the night of culture, folklore and Sufism. The Foundation had also arranged an iftar dinner on the occasion. The Foundation works in the health care sector, and is successfully running the first phase of its 'Sociale Health Units Project in Goth Shah Muhammad, where 45,000 people are getting proper medical services free of cost. The Sociale plans to launch such health units across Pakistan, but only in the deprived areas which are identified after proper surveys. Other than serving the nation, the Sociale Foundation has works for the restoration and promotion of the long lost traditions, and culture.
