LAHORE - The District Coordination Officer Lahore Noorul Amin Mengal, on Monday morning, participated as chief guest in the full dress rehearsal ceremony of the 14th August at Hazoori Bagh.
A large gathering including school students, teachers, officers of City District Government, Police Officers and citizens were present on the occasion. More than 300 hundred scouts of different city schools gave guard of honor to DCO Lahore who later on hoisted the national flag.
Mengal inspected all arrangements made by the Cit District Government on this occasion and appreciated them. He heard national songs from students of Model Town High School and students of Special Education Schools.
The DCO appreciated the students and announced prize of worth Rs.1500 to each student of Special Education and Rs 1000 each student of Government Model Town High School. Mengal also announced Rs 5000 each for the instructors of students.
