ISLAMABAD – The district administration has forwarded a request to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for starting investigations into 102 kanals of land case near village Kirpa in the outskirts of the federal capital.

The reason of sending the case to FIA is that two different persons have claimed the ownership of the same piece of land, an official of the Islamabad Capital Territory Administration informed on Monday.

According to details, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Tariq Mahmood Pirzada who also holds the charge of Chief Settlement Commissioner was already hearing a revenue case relating to 102 kanals of land in the village Kirpa, Islamabad. The land is allotted to Ahmed Bukhsh s/o Maula Bukhsh, a resident of Faisalabad, for adjudication.

Earlier, a civil court had also passed an order in favour of the said allottee. On the basis of which, he has filed a petition in the court of Chief Settlement Commissioner for adjudication.

Meanwhile, surprisingly a person with the same name Ahmed Bukhsh s/o Maula Bukhsh, a resident of Lahore, on Monday surprisingly appeared in the court of Chief Settlement Commissioner, Islamabad and claimed that he was the owner of the said portion of land in village Kirpa. He was also carrying photocopies of documents of said property.

Chief Settlement Commissioner, prima facie, considering the documents as fake, has forwarded the case to FIA with the request to fully investigate the matter and in case of any foul play, bring the culprit to book for further legal action.
