LAHORE – The PTI and the PML-Q will hold flag hoisting ceremonies at their respective party offices in Punjab, besides organising other functions in connection with 66th Independence Day today (Tuesday).
The PTI local leaders led by Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed will hoist flag at party’s City chapter office, while PTI (women wing) Punjab in the leadership of Saloni Bukhari and Talath Naqvi will lay floral wreath at the mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and offer fateha.
The main ceremony of the PTI regarding the Independence Day will be chaired by provincial leader, Ahsan Rasheed in which cake cutting ceremony will be held besides distribution of gifts among the needy children.
Abdul Aleem Khan, PTI’s City chapter leader will also hoist flag at an orphanage in Cantonment, besides distributing gifts and clothes among the children.
PML-Q General Secretary Chaudhary Zaheeruddin will hoist flag at Muslim League House, while the ceremony will be attended by several provincial and districts leaders.
