An impressive change of guard ceremony was held at the Mazar-e-Quaid on the eve of Independence Day of Pakistan where a contingent of Pakistan Navy took over guard duties at the mausoleum on Wednesday.

The contingent of Pakistan Navy assumed the guard duties in a ceremony held at the mausoleum of the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah on the 67th Independence Day of the country.

Chief guest of the ceremony Pakistan Naval Academy Commander Commodore Zahid Ilyas inspected the guard of honour and laid a floral wreath and offered fateha at the Mazar-e-Quaid.

Earlier, a smart contingent of Pakistan Navy presented guard of honor to the father of Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah to pay him homage on 67th Independence Day of the country.

Besides, change of guards ceremony was also held in Lahore at the Mazar-e-Iqbal, where a smart and agile contingent of Pakistan Army took over the duties from Pakistan Rangers.
