LOS ANGELES: Katherine Heigl is set to make a return to the small screen. The actress - who quit medical drama Grey’s Anatomy three years ago - is producing a new political spy drama about America’s Central Intelligence Agency, in which she will star as an adviser to the president. Heigl left Grey’s Anatomy in 2010 after five years as Dr. Izzie Stevens, a role which landed her the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2007. She went on to establish herself as a film actress, starring in movies such as Knocked Up, Life As We Know It and The Ugly Truth. –SS
