Rallies express solidarity with prime minister

The PML-N workers took out a rally from the residence of MPA Qazi Adnan Farid to express solidarity with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The PML-N activists were carrying party flags and chanted slogans in favour of Premier Nawaz Sharif.
The rally led by MPA started from Kutchery Road and culminated at Chowk Munir Shaheed.
Addresign the participants, MPA Qazi Adnan Farid and PML-N leader Syed Arshad Bukhari criticized PTI Chairman Imran Khan and PAT Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri.
They alleged that both were hatching conspiracy to derail democracy. They said that PML-N leadership would foil the nefarious designs of anti-democratic forces.
PML-N Lawyers and Minority Wing took out a rally to show solidarity with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The participants chanted slogans against Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri in front of Press Club here on Wednesday.
They lawyers led by former TBA President Hamayun Shakeel Cheema started the rally from the bar and culminated in front of the press club.
They were chanting slogans in favour of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and against Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri.
They said that the PTI and (PAT) were working on the Jewish agenda and PML-N would not let them succeed in their goals against the country.
Meanwhile, PML-N and MSF will take out a rally today morning from local MNA office.
CELEBRATION: In connection with the celebrations of Independence Day, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at Government Girls High School the other day.  Assistant Commissioner Ch Ahsan Ullah, Assistant Director Education Malik Sultan Sikendar Awan and DDO Education Madam Samina Iqbal Jasra were the chief guests while Headmistress Madam Farzana Habib presided over the ceremony.
Assistant Education Officers Naheed Raza, Mussarat Bibi and Asma Shafih also attended the function while Samina Habib conducted the proceedings. On the occasion the AC hoisted the national flag.  Speaking on the occasion, he said that independent homeland is the result of unprecedented sacrifices offered by the forefathers and present generation should play its due role to drag out Pakistan from crises and put it on road to progress.
He said that great nations did not forget the sacrifices and services of their founders and forefathers and always celebrate their freedom days with great passion.  Addressing on the occasion, the AD Education said that the objective of observing the Independence month was to make young generations aware of sacrifices of the elders for achieving freedom and also to highlight objectives of the Pakistan ideology.
He said that Independence Day celebrations would continue till August 31 and these celebrations would be organized and observed by all segments of society including the government departments, schools, colleges and civil society.  Deputy DEO Madam Samina Iqbal Jasra in her address said that the country was passing through difficult days and the nation should forge unity to make the war against terrorism a success.
Headmistress Madam Farzana Habib greeted the nation. She urged to promote unity, solidarity and brotherhood for progressive Pakistan. Children belonged to different schools paid tributes to founder father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam and great thinker and philosopher Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal.
The participants of the ceremony offered special prayer for the solidarity and progress of the country.
