LAHORE – The Wapda Sports Board (WSB) held karate, swimming and volley ball competitions here at Wapda Sports Complex, Kot Lakhpat in which the participating players demonstrated their talent and earned applause from the spectators in their respective sports. These competitions were organised as a part of week-long Independence Day celebrations under the banner of Wapda in compliance with the special instructions of the Prime Minister. In volley ball competition, two teams A and B participated and the latter displayed their superior skills to down the A team. NTDC Sports Association president Wajahat Rana, DG Budget and Coordination Wapda Sajjad Ahmad and CEO LESCO Rao Zameer-ud-Din were the chief guests at swimming, karate and volleyball competitions respectively.–Staff Reporter
