This is an appeal to Federal Government, Minister of Interior, Chairman CDA, members of NA and Senate, Supreme Court of Pakistan and Islamabad High Court to intervene on behalf of unfortunate allottees of CDA Balloting held in 1989. CDA was established on June 14, 1960 as statutory body for planning and development of Islamabad, providing functions of municipal committee and advancing public interest, dealing with all citizens fairly, honestly and transparently. In 1989 CDA offered plots to general public through balloting in Sector E12, and successful applicants were issued Allotment Letters. Even after 26 years, these applicants who have paid all instalments demanded by CDA are still waiting for possession. This gross injustice violates constitutional rights of these citizens and is an act unbecoming of an organization that is a statutory body, binding upon it to act fairly with all citizens. Unfortunately CDA has become hostage to greed of its employees, the paid civil and uniformed bureaucracy, pressure groups and land mafia. Will somebody kindly intervene?
