Lahore: Former Governor Punjab and Leader of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that silence on cruelty, injustice and corruption is also a crime.

He said that opposition parties will have to move ahead to save the country. While addressing the delegations of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf on independent day, he said that today Pakistan is facing threats from terrorism but unfortunately the corrupt people are also a threat for the country

Accountability movement will only end after eradication of corruption. "Kings" of corruption have been destroying the

country and we cannot remain silence. People who made Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal's Pakistan a hub of corruption are national criminals and they will have to be accountable for it’ he added.

Hesaid that today Pakistan is facing threats from terrorism but unfortunately the corrupt people are also a threat for the country.

PTI has taken to streets to rid people of the corruption and till there is accountability the movement will continue till end of corruption, he added.
