LAHORE - The Pakistan Junior U-21 Women hockey team won its opening match of Women's Junior Asia Cup against Thailand by 2-1. Reports received here from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia said that the first half ended in 1-1 draw and later in the second half Pakistan women managed their second goal to win the match. Both the field goals were scored by Nazia. Pakistan Team's Coach, Muhammad Akhlaq said that it is a good sign for Pakistan women's hockey. Players played at their best and we got victory against Thailand. Pakistan Women's team will play tomorrow against Japan instead of Malaysia. Third match will be played against Malaysia on 17th December and fourth and last pool match against China on 18th December.
