FIR sought against CIA chief

ISLAMABAD - Tribal Chief of the Wazir Tribe of the South Wazirstan filed an application with Secretariat Police Station through his lawyer seeking immediate arrest of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Chief in Pakistan under criminal charges, for his alleged involvement in killing of innocent tribal people in drone attacks, sources informed The Nation. Sources said that Karim Khan, resident of Mir Ali, South Wazirstan through his lawyer Barrister Raza Hassan filed an application for criminal charges against Jonathan Bannk CIA Chief in Pakistan. It is prayed in the application that case should be logged against CIA Chief in Pakistan for killing of innocent tribal men, women and children. It is also requested in the application that the name of the CIA chief in Pakistan should be put on the ECL. It is also requested in the application that tribal areas are being controlled by the federal government so their application should be accepted on that grounds. Also the CIA chief who is responsible for killing of innocent people also reside in Islamabad territory, the application maintained. Sources further said that police officials had received the application from the Wazir Tribe Chief demanding registration of case under the PPC section 302. When The Nation contacted, SHO Hakam Khan confirmed the receiving of application and said that the tribal chief Karim Khan through his lawyers Barrister Raza had submitted the application with secretariat police station. He confirmed that application had been moved to prosecution branch, SP Legal for its legal review and direction of imposition of sections. To a question, he said that applicant had requested that name of CIA chief should be included in the ECL, however, police had informed the applicant that FIA was responsible for incorporation of the name of any body in the ECL. The applicant intended to file an application to FIA to incorporate the Jonathan Banks in the ECL.
