LAHORE - Pakistan Test skipper Misbahul Haq on Monday has said he has still interest in playing Twenty20s and fully fit to deliver in all the formats of cricket and it is premature to talk about ending of his career. It is the not for the first time that I am hearing such comments as I have heard this earlier as well and I would like to say that my cricket career is not yet over as I am fully fit and can play ODIs as well as Twenty20s, Misbah said. The skipper has also said the camp of national team is going on very well and all the players are mentally and physically fit and strong to face New Zealand team at their home grounds. Talking about World Cup preparation, Misbah said: The players have to work hard and their all-out efforts should be for the national team. The results of New Zealand tour will obviously influence the teams performance in World Cup. He added that Pakistan had good chances to win the World Cup and the tour of New Zealand would help the team to prepare for the mega event. We should not consider the New Zealands performance in India and Bangladesh as the Kiwis lost their series in both the countries. They always give tough time at their home grounds, Misbah said. He also said that if the team would win New Zealand series, they would start World Cup with more confidence and perform well. Talking about the presence of former Pakistan team captain Javed Miandad in the national team camp, he said: Miandads presence is very beneficial for the team as he gives important tips to the players and his efforts will surely be fruitful for the team.
